3. Select auto or manual targeting:
- Auto: Amazon picks keywords based on your listing.
- Manual: You choose specific keywords or ASINs.
4. Set a budget and duration: Begin with $10–30/day and run for at least 7 days before making changes.
5. Do keyword research using tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or AMZScout to identify high-volume, relevant terms.
6. Optimize product listings before launching. A poor title or image will drag down ad performance.
7. Launch both auto and manual campaigns for the same product — then compare data after a week and optimize accordingly.
8. Monitor performance regularly. Adjust bids, pause underperforming keywords, and split-test new ideas.
